Creating future fintech leaders

This week the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) welcomed 30 professionals from both public and private sector to Norway’s first ever Executive MBA in Fintech.

The program has been named «Executive MBA in Technology and Innovation of Finance» and aims to enable a better understanding of challenges and opportunities created by the ongoing Fintech revolution and how to translate this knowledge into better decisions.

The program which has been developed closely with NCE Finance Innovation is now ready for its’ first batch.

Øystein Thøgersen, Rector at NHH says the interest for the new Master program has been overwhelmingly positive.

One of the participants, Tom Staavi, Director of Information in Finance Norway sees clear value in the new Executive MBA program.

As an industry organisation it is important for Finance Norway to build further competence within fintech. We have to stay relevant and updated when facing the authorities. New financial technology impacts the entire society, not only the finance sector, says Staavi.
