Carabiner, by Kointi AS, is a Norwegian regtech company based in Oslo. We are developing a solution that reduces pain points in KYC and AML processes for financial institutions with customers that own cryptocurrencies.
Our work is grounded in research. The problems our solution solves are validated through concrete projects, including a DIP project supported by DOGA (Design and Architecture Norway) and the Research Council of Norway.
CryptoClarity
CryptoClarity provides consulting and training in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. The company supports both businesses and individuals with risk assessments, regulatory guidance, background checks, and insights into how the technology works – in relation to cryptocurrency as well as other use cases.
The founder and consultant, Kaja Vagle, has experience as an investigator and intelligence analyst in the Norwegian police, and specialized in AML and risk analysis at DNB – where she was subject matter expert on cryptocurrency. She holds a Master’s degree in blockchain and combines strong academic knowledge with hands-on expertise.
CryptoClarity works with partners in legal, coding, and other relevant fields when needed. So far, the company has worked with a bank, a crypto exchange, a publicly listed company, and private investors, helping clients navigate a complex and rapidly evolving landscape.
