Talent & Student activities
Finance Innovation connects students with industry through events, case workshops, and shared arenas - giving students hands-on experience, exposure to future employers, and a foundation for entrepreneurship.
Norway Fintech Festival YOUNG
A free festival for students to explore the fintech industry, discover career opportunities, and meet the companies shaping the future of finance. Through talks, panels, and networking, the festival bridges academia and industry — making the transition from student to professional a little easier.
Particularly relevant for students in IT, economics, finance, data technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, management, and marketing — though all study programmes are welcome.
ITØK-seminar med UiB
Twice a year, Finance Innovation and ITØK at UiB co-host a half-day workshop where industry representatives present real-world cases and engage directly with students. A concrete example of how the cluster connects academia and business in practice.
Student organizations
Finance Innovation partners with Enigma ITØK, the student association for the IT and Economics programme at the University of Bergen. Through academic activities, student projects, and shared meeting arenas — including at Media City Bergen — students gain insight into real industry needs and how technology and finance intersect in practice. Enigma ITØK is also closely tied to Norway Fintech Festival and its student programme each April.
The cluster student group
An ambitious student community for those who want to go deeper into fintech and the financial industry. Members contribute to real projects, organize events, and build cross-disciplinary networks — gaining practical experience and direct connections to cluster member companies. The group's flagship initiative is Norway Fintech Festival Young, through which students take ownership of planning and delivering a major industry event.
